You can make a difference in the world–to heal the world through prayer. Join us on September 11 for Unity World Day of Prayer. Our prayers that day will encompass the world with healing energy that renews mind, body and spirit, restores relationships, and opens the way for acceptance and peace among all people.

Go to My Prayer List and list the names of those you would like remembered in prayer on World Day of Prayer and continuing throughout the 11 Days of Global Unity: A Season of Interfaith Celebration. We will prayerfully acknowledge your names during our 24-hour vigil in the Silent Unity Chapel on September 11. They will be held in prayer, day and night, for thirty days. Your prayers, united with ours, will touch millions of lives.

Wherever you are on September 11, join us in holding an image of our world enfolded in love and peace.

The Presenters

Gregg Braden

New York Times best selling author Gregg Braden is internationally renowned as a pioneer in bridging science and spirituality. Following a successful career as a Computer Geologist for Phillips Petroleum during the 1970s energy crisis, he became a Senior Computer Systems Designer for Martin Marietta Defense Systems during the last year of the Cold War. In 1991 he was appointed the first Technical Operations Manager for Cisco Systems where he led the development of the global support team that assures the reliability of today’s Internet.

For more than 20 years, Gregg has searched high mountain villages, remote monasteries, and forgotten texts to uncover their timeless secrets. To date, his work has led to such paradigm-shattering books as The Isaiah Effect, The God Code, and his 2007 release, The Divine Matrix: Bridging Time, Space, Miracles and Belief. Gregg’s work is now published in 17 languages and 27 countries and shows us beyond any reasonable doubt that the key to our future lies in the wisdom of our past.

She also leads annual tours to Assisi, Africa and Dharmsala.

A founding member of the Association for Global New Thought, she has spoken at the U.N. as an advocate for children and grassroots spiritually motivated action, as well as convening the Gandhi-King Season for Peace and Non-violence, the Synthesis Dialogues with His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and the annual Awakened World conference in Palm Springs.
